Photorealistic daylight simulations
Forecasting of spatial impression and visual comfort
Human comfort is influenced by daylight. Consulting facade design, we develop an optimum of both use of daylight and sun protection. Utilizing photo-realistic light simulations based on ray tracing, we exactly model windows, facade, sunblind and artificial lighting. Already in the planning phase we illustrate the spatial impression to be expected. That way, glare effects can be avoided and a high quantity of daylight illuminance can be ensured. The simulation results are quantified via the analysis of daylight factors and light densities.
